THE CAMERA IS THE LEAST IMPORTANT ELEMENT IN PHOTOGRAPHY – JULIUS SHULMAN

A photographer specializing in commercial and residential architecture and interiors, Jody Beck was raised by coyotes on an acreage under the big prairie sky. Together with his wife, he’s now raising his own little coyotes by the beautiful sea in Victoria, BC. An eye for available natural light, together with a keen sense of architectural uniqueness, gives Jody an uncanny ability to capture the character of any space. Through the alchemy of light and composition, he connects with his subjects not just to take photos, but to create them.

As Modern Home Magazine’s proprietor, Jody understands the intricacies and challenges of the design/build process and recognizes how essential striking images are to a business’s brand message. Bringing his established client-centred approach and business experience to each project, Jody can translate your architectural and design achievements into images that tell a powerful story.
